Bornilla Unveils Historic National PRISAA Boxing Championship

Perfect blend of astonishing skills and devastating powerful punches became the firm foundation of MPCF-LC Boxing Champ Jostone Bornilla in ousting his prime antagonist and gave it an indelible nightmare defeat after his volcanic outburst performance which delivered him to be triumphant and snitch the most treasured Gold Medal during the National PRISAA Boxing Competition held last April 8-14, 2011 at Ciudad de Zamboanga.

    Few days before his scheduled bout, Bornilla encountered a tough challenge which tested his brawling ability and readiness of his body. Unfortunately, the officials of the National PRISAA boxing Committee didn’t find a match for his forte weight division. They decided to let Bornilla level down his fighting division and decrease his mass.

    To meet the desired weight given by the Officials, Bornilla had a tough practice to reduce his mass and just drink plenty of water to sustain his energy. It weakened his body and hounded his strength to outshine. He really endured the depletion of his weight.

    His 3-Rounder Fight was scheduled as the Main Event of the Boxing Competition. Everyone was so excited to watch their amazing boxing styles and unbelievable performances.

    He stepped on the canvass though he is not on his 100 % condition. But he still stayed unperturbed and recuperated his boxing style to prevail that fight. During the match, he keenly observed the fighting style of his opponent. In connection with this, he launched an antidote to halt and limit his aggressive opponent. His cat-quick hands shattered his opponent and limited it from attacking. Being a tactical fighter, he easily set the right tempo of their clash and outpunched his opponent.

    His superb footwork, speedy moves and aggressive attacks played a big factor for him to outwork his opponent. His fighting spirit was reawakened which delivered him to establish the right strategy. Then, he also showed an amazing defence, the combination of tremendous weaving ability and strong blocking ability skill which obstructed his opponent’s powerful punches. He was like a stellar boxer showing his might in the battlefield.

    After the 3 rounds of boxing, the clash of two competitive fighters came to an end. And they laid on the Judges’ score cards.

   Then, the herald proclaimed that the Fighter from Region V – Jostone Bornilla outscored his opponent and clinched that marvellous victory.

A Journey called LIFE

                Life is the most challenging game that a man can play. It is risky but interesting to explore with. It is full of trials, ups and downs, and also a combination of struggles and victories. Some considers it as a long journey while others find it short.

                If somebody asked you, “Are you ready to die young?” Of course, you’ll answer “No, I am not ready to die young?”               

                What if God take your life at your young age? Can you say that you already played your role in accomplishing your mission in the short span of time given to you? Are you happy in your achievements and accomplishments which were done to help your fellow creature? Are you satisfied with the things you’ve done before?

                If not, then it’s time to continue your journey. And now, mark a new beginning. A start which eyes for improvement that will serve as a key to unlock big doors of opportunities. Let us always remember that there is sunshine after a rain. A brighter day will shine after we initiate the change that we ask for. We might experience the most turbulent period of our life but still the pain that we endure will be eased by the love that we receive.

                If you hate someone, try to forgive. Anger is one of the most poisonous content in a man’s life. We don’t know that holding anger eats us from within. Some thinks that hating is a weapon against our enemies but the hatred that we throw bounces back and the harm that we do, we do it to ourselves.

                Children are crying while others are dying. Some of them are seeking for love and affection that their family can’t give them. Children who live in orphanage are coping up with the problems that ruin their lives. Unfortunately, their parents haven’t claimed their responsibilities as the molder of their future. At the early stage of their life, they were victims of irregularities and wrecked family.

                You are very lucky that you are still with your loving family. You still have people who care for your safety and care for your existence. They are blessings that we shall treasure in our lives. Love them whole heartedly and show how much you care.

                Be a helping hand for those who need it most. I know you know how it feels being worthless, not accepted by other people and find it hard to emancipate in the fierce trials that strike your life. So take this opportunity to help. A small thing that we offer might take a big impact on their lives. When we were still child, we were taught by our teacher for what is the difference of right and wrong. Then the time had come that we need to apply the things we knew that is right and will benefit others. A move that will ricochet the pride that they lost and seize the chance to continue the fight that they started.

Be a shoulder to those who need somebody to be leaned on. Show that you support them especially at the times that they are at the weakening stage and covered by the darkness of life. Try to become a man who is accountable with someone he loves.

Every one of us is blessed with different skills and assets which can be used for the development of you and might other’s life too. Unfortunately, some were just afraid to explore and share it. They just let it to be unheard and unrecognized. Always remember that one’s strength is useless overtime it is unshared.

Take the opportunity to evolve yourself into a productive person who seeks for the development and one who takes the lead and serve unselfishly, without asking for any return.  Quench these bad vibes that you possess now and turn it into an eloquent characteristic that will inspire others.

Life is an example of ascending and descending. First, you you are beginning to live for a single objective – for self-development and discovery of life then as you go along the way, you touch others’ lives and are a part of it. You help them realize what the importance of their existence is.

If you had undesirable and irresistible experiences, break through that limitations and discover the art of life. Some might find life so miserable, full of problems and might feel they are devastated by a fierce storm but you can do nothing to avoid them. Bear in mind that these problems occur for a reason. After we hurdle it, we will understand why it existed.

Some dilemmas might beguile our lives and made us feel unworthy. You can’t deny the fact that these conflicts always ruin us. Our emotion might be like being hopeless when we are weak. Be strong and grow up once again. Reconstruct the blocks of true hope and make a positive change within yourself.  

Then, if your life unexpectedly came to an end, you are fulfilled and proudly say that, “ hindi ako nanghinayang kasi alam ko sa sarili ko na I already played my part “
